The Bulgarian Association of Sports Arthroscopy and Traumatology (BAAST) is a part of the Bulgarian Association of Orthopaedics and Traumatology (BOTA).
The close cooperation of the association with European and world organizations, the annual organization of courses and forums allow the members of the association to constantly improve their level of education and qualification. They become familiar with the latest techniques in the field of arthroscopy and sports traumatology.
BAAST promotes cooperation with European arthroscopy associations and establishes close links with international societies and specialists in the field.
The event is sponsored by ESSKA (European Society of Sports Traumatology, Knee Surgery & Arthroscopy) and EFORT (European Federation of National Associations of Orthopaedics and Traumatology). The organisation has 320 participants.
S.B.M., together with Dr. David DEJOUR (Clinic Ortho de Lyon, FRANCE), a surgeon specialised in the knee, is conducting a workshop on the use of the Retrotech® (retrograde Drill in All Inside).
